Manage your personal profile and account information
Profile Settings
Customize how you appear in Securtea and manage your account information.
Profile Information
Display Name
Your name shown throughout Securtea:
- Go to User Settings > Profile
- Edit Display Name
- Click Save
This appears in:
- Dashboard header
- Comments and activity
- Reports and assignments
- Team member lists
Email Address
Your account's email address:
- Used for sign-in (if not SSO)
- Receives notifications
- Identifies your account
Changing Email:
- Click Change Email
- Enter new email address
- Verify via code sent to new address
- Email updated after verification
If your organization uses SSO, email changes may be restricted or managed through your identity provider.
Avatar
Your profile picture:
Upload Custom Avatar:
- Click current avatar
- Select image file
- Crop if needed
- Save
Requirements:
- Formats: PNG, JPG, GIF
- Minimum: 100x100 pixels
- Maximum size: 1 MB
Remove Avatar:
- Click avatar
- Select Remove
- Initials-based avatar is used
Contact Information
Phone Number
Optional phone number:
- Used for emergency contact
- Not visible to other members (unless shared)
Title/Position
Your job title:
- Helps identify your role
- Shown in team views
Preferences
Theme
Choose display theme:

Home Organization
If you belong to multiple organizations:
- Select Home Organization
- Choose preferred organization
- This org loads by default on sign-in
Date/Time Format
Choose your preferred format:

| Time | 12-hour, 24-hour |
| Time Zone | Select your zone |
Language
Select interface language:
- English (default)
- Additional languages as available
Account Status
Viewing Status
See your account information:

| Email Verified | Verification status |
| Organizations | Count of memberships |
Email Verification
If your email isn't verified:
- Click Verify Email
- Check inbox for verification code
- Enter code to verify
Verified email enables:
- Password reset
- Important notifications
- Account recovery
Connected Organizations
Viewing Memberships
See all organizations you belong to:
- Organization name
- Your role in each
- Join date
Switching Organizations
Change active organization:
- Click organization selector in header
- Select organization
- Context switches immediately
Leaving an Organization
To leave an organization:
- Click Leave next to organization
- Confirm departure
You cannot leave an organization if you're the only owner. Transfer ownership first.
Data & Privacy
Download Your Data
Request a copy of your personal data:
- Scroll to Data & Privacy
- Click Download My Data
- Export is prepared
- Download link sent via email
Delete Account
Permanently delete your Securtea account:
Account deletion is permanent. You'll lose access to all organizations and your data will be removed.
Before deleting:
- Transfer any ownership
- Leave all organizations
- Download data if needed
To delete:
- Click Delete Account
- Enter your password (or confirm via SSO)
- Type "DELETE" to confirm
- Account is permanently removed
