Profile Settings

Customize how you appear in Securtea and manage your account information.

Profile Information

Display Name

Your name shown throughout Securtea:

  1. Go to User Settings > Profile
  2. Edit Display Name
  3. Click Save

This appears in:

  • Dashboard header
  • Comments and activity
  • Reports and assignments
  • Team member lists

Email Address

Your account's email address:

  • Used for sign-in (if not SSO)
  • Receives notifications
  • Identifies your account

Changing Email:

  1. Click Change Email
  2. Enter new email address
  3. Verify via code sent to new address
  4. Email updated after verification

Avatar

Your profile picture:

Upload Custom Avatar:

  1. Click current avatar
  2. Select image file
  3. Crop if needed
  4. Save

Requirements:

  • Formats: PNG, JPG, GIF
  • Minimum: 100x100 pixels
  • Maximum size: 1 MB

Remove Avatar:

  1. Click avatar
  2. Select Remove
  3. Initials-based avatar is used

Contact Information

Phone Number

Optional phone number:

  • Used for emergency contact
  • Not visible to other members (unless shared)

Title/Position

Your job title:

  • Helps identify your role
  • Shown in team views

Choose display theme:

Home Organization

If you belong to multiple organizations:

  1. Select Home Organization
  2. Choose preferred organization
  3. This org loads by default on sign-in

Date/Time Format

Choose your preferred format:

Select interface language:

  • English (default)
  • Additional languages as available

See your account information:

Email Verification

If your email isn't verified:

  1. Click Verify Email
  2. Check inbox for verification code
  3. Enter code to verify

Verified email enables:

  • Password reset
  • Important notifications
  • Account recovery

Connected Organizations

Viewing Memberships

See all organizations you belong to:

  • Organization name
  • Your role in each
  • Join date

Switching Organizations

Change active organization:

  1. Click organization selector in header
  2. Select organization
  3. Context switches immediately

Leaving an Organization

To leave an organization:

  1. Click Leave next to organization
  2. Confirm departure

Data & Privacy

Download Your Data

Request a copy of your personal data:

  1. Scroll to Data & Privacy
  2. Click Download My Data
  3. Export is prepared
  4. Download link sent via email

Delete Account

Permanently delete your Securtea account:

Before deleting:

  • Transfer any ownership
  • Leave all organizations
  • Download data if needed

To delete:

  1. Click Delete Account
  2. Enter your password (or confirm via SSO)
  3. Type "DELETE" to confirm
  4. Account is permanently removed

Global Search

Search for pages, settings, and documentation
