Onboarding Overview
Welcome to Securtea! This guide walks you through the four-step onboarding process to get your organization up and running.
The Onboarding Flow
Setting up Securtea is a straightforward four-step process designed to be completed in under 15 minutes.
Step 1: Email Verification
Verify your email address to secure your account. You'll receive an 8-digit one-time password (OTP) code.

Step 2: Organization Setup
Create your organization or join an existing one. Your organization is the central hub for your team's security management.
- Choose a unique organization name and URL slug

Step 3: Billing Setup
Select the plan that fits your needs and complete the checkout process.

Step 4: App Registration
Connect your Microsoft 365 tenant to Securtea by creating an Azure app registration.

The app registration step takes the longest as it requires working in the Azure Portal. Having Azure admin access ready beforehand speeds up the process.
Prerequisites
Before starting onboarding, ensure you have:
- Valid email address - You'll verify ownership during signup
- Organization name - What you'll call your Securtea workspace
- Azure Portal access - Admin access to create app registrations
- Payment method - Credit card or invoice (Enterprise only)
After Onboarding
Once you've completed all four steps, you'll have access to:
- Security Dashboard - View your Microsoft 365 security posture
- Compliance Assessments - Run assessments against security frameworks
- Drift Detection - Monitor configuration changes
- Reports - Generate compliance reports for stakeholders
