Dashboard Overview

The Securtea dashboard is your command center for Microsoft 365 security. At a glance, see your security posture, track compliance progress, and identify areas needing attention.

Dashboard Layout

The dashboard is organized into several key areas:

Header Bar

The top navigation provides:

  • Organization Selector - Switch between organizations (if you have multiple)
  • Search - Quick access to features and settings
  • Notifications - Alerts and system messages
  • User Menu - Profile settings and sign out

Navigate between major features:

  • Dashboard - Current view
  • Compliance - Assessment frameworks and results
  • Drift Detection - Configuration monitoring
  • Reports - Generated compliance reports
  • Evidence - Compliance evidence collection
  • Settings - Organization and user settings

Main Content Area

The widget grid displays your security metrics and insights.

Key Metrics

Microsoft Secure Score

Your tenant's Microsoft Secure Score shows how well your M365 configuration follows Microsoft's security recommendations:

  • Current Score - Your score out of the maximum possible
  • Trend - Score changes over time
  • Comparison - How you compare to similar organizations

Compliance Status

Track your compliance across multiple frameworks:

  • Overall Progress - Percentage of controls met
  • Framework Breakdown - Status per framework (CIS, NIST, etc.)
  • Recent Changes - Controls that improved or regressed

Drift Events

Monitor configuration changes in your environment:

  • Open Events - Drift events requiring attention
  • Severity Distribution - Critical, High, Medium, Low
  • Recent Activity - Latest detected changes

Assessment History

View your compliance assessment track record:

  • Recent Assessments - Last 5 assessment runs
  • Score Trends - Compliance improvement over time
  • Scheduled Assessments - Upcoming automated runs

Widget Features

Each widget supports:

  • Refresh - Update data on demand
  • Expand - View detailed information
  • Configure - Customize display options (where applicable)

Data Freshness

Dashboard data comes from multiple sources with different update frequencies:

Click the Refresh icon on individual widgets to fetch the latest data.

Getting Started

If you've just completed onboarding, your dashboard may show limited data initially:

  1. Run your first assessment - Go to Compliance > Run Assessment
  2. Enable drift monitoring - Go to Drift Detection > Configure
  3. Check back later - Some data (like Secure Score) takes time to populate
